The Sundström A2 Gas filter (SR 218 Class 2), are designed for use with Sundström half masks and full face masks.
The filter are of type A and provide protection against organic gases and vapours, such as solvents, with boiling points > +65 °C.
The gas filter can easily be combined with particle filter SR 510 P3 R in order to obtain protection also against aerosols (particles), e.g. during spray painting.
A2 filters offer no additional protection than the A1 versions, but they do have a longer working life (see note below).
Please note: Gas filters begin working as soon as their vacuum-sealed packaging is opened as gases will constantly flow through the filter even without us breathing through them, so it is wise to store them in an airtight container when not in use in order to prolonge them as much as possible.

For Unwanted Items: If you are not happy with your purchase or have simply changed your mind, please get in touch with us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will happily issue a refund. The refund is subject to us receiving the goods back undamaged, in their original packaging with all labels intact ready for re-sale. For unwanted respiratory PPE, we can only refund or exchange if we receive the goods back unopened and unused due to health and safety reasons.
We do not charge restocking fees at JC Safety, but if you have changed you mind you will be required to return the goods at your own cost, fully insured to the amount of the goods in case of loss.
For Faulty Goods: If you receive faulty goods, please click the 'contact' button below so we can work together to find the best solution - whether this is a refund or replacement. We may need the faulty item(s) returning to us so we can inspect the issue, and once we are satisfied on inspection that the item is damaged we will refund you any shipping costs incurred.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you opted to use during checkout. Please allow 5 working days for refunds to arrive back in your account.
